This birthday card features a triptych of a photo of wood slices. The grain, and specifically the growth rings, are detailed in each of the three panes. It makes a play-on-words of "adding another ring," meaning getting a year older. The sections of the photo are on a dark teal-coloured canvas background, and the text on the bottom says, "No matter how you slice it, we know you've added another ring!" The inside text says, "We wood like you to have a Happy Birthday!" with the intentional misspelling of the word, "wood" for "would."
