This is a very cute Birthday card for a dearest niece in law. A magpie sits on her nest in a Winter tree surrounded by treasures that she has found. These include necklaces, glasses, keys, hat pins and a spoon that is sitting on her head. There is a red heart with the words Happy Birthday. The border around the magpie is created with collaged leaves made from fractal images and cut into shapes digitally. The card is quite striking being mainly black and white with tones of sepia, burnt orange and teal colours. It has a Winter time feel to it. This piece has been digitally created using a watercolour painting and collaged cut out pieces from fractal images which are based on natural mathematical logarithms. Beautiful, unusual and colourful art card with a modern edge to it.
