Isis was the "Goddess of Magic, Motherhood, and Healing" - arguably the most important female deity in the Egyptian pantheon. She was renowned for her powerful magic, her devotion as a wife and mother (particularly in the myth of Osiris and Horus), and her role as a healer and protector. Her worship eventually spread throughout the Roman Empire, making her one of the most universally beloved ancient deities. People born under this sign (March 11-31, October 18-29, December 19-31) are described as embodying the nurturing, magical qualities associated with this great goddess. The symbolism includes protection, devotion, and feminine power - all central to Isis's role as the archetypal divine mother and magical protector. Her story of reassembling Osiris after his death and raising Horus represents themes of renewal, dedication, and the power of love to overcome death itself.
