A new year's greeting for clients working in the field of hemophilia. The greeting features the factor IX (FIX), as in "FIXed for a happy new year". Hemophilia B is a blood clotting disorder in patients with a deficiency of factor IX. Hemophilia B is also known as Christmas disease, named after Stephen Christmas, the first patient described with haemophilia B. The image in the background is a representation (for design purpose) of a section of the FIX molecular structure (courtesy of EMBL-EBI). The background is colored in a dual shade of soft green and soft yellow.
