This is a photograph of an acrylic painting, " Signs of Autumn " by Jackie Ward Artist. The painting is photorealistic in style and shows a river bank in the small village of Lower Slaughter in the Cotswolds, England. The water is very shallow and reflects the tree and shrubs on the opposite bank, which are backlit by the sun. The light is bouncing back on to the trunk of the tree colouring it green and the leaves are just giving a hint of the coming Autumn
