Lifting the Torah during a Bar or Bat Mitzvah service to show the portion being read is called Hagbah. This is a great honor. Here we have two aerial acrobats doing the honors. The man on the floor level in front of the holy ark (where the Torahs are kept) is wearing a prayer shawl. Holding the other end of the Torah scroll, balancing high above ark, is another Jewish man in a yarmulke.
