This is a very cute Birthday card for a dearest foster mother. An owl is sleeping on a branch surrounded by lots of leaves, feathers and abstract flowers. There is a red heart with the words Happy Birthday. The border around the owl is created with collaged leaves made from fractal images and cut into shapes digitally. The card is in darker tones of brown, reds, sepia, black and white. It has a night-time feel to it. This piece has been digitally created using a watercolour painting and collaged cut out pieces from fractal images which are based on natural mathematical logarithms.
