Orthodox Jewish man, covered in a prayer shawl that completely obstructs his vision, stands in front of a charging bull in the middle of the bullring. A horrified crowd looks on, many cheering “Oy vey!” instead of the traditional bullfight chant, “Ole!” A “no bull” and funny way to say “Get Well” to a Jewish friend, given that Orthodox Jewish bullfighters are pretty darn rare. (Yes, there actually was one at least – Sidney Franklin (1903-1976); you could look it up.) And certainly one who used a prayer shawl instead of a cape was definitely one of a kind.
