This 24th birthday card for a granddaughter was inspired by the delicious memories I collected while exploring the streets of Paris. I loved spending leisurely afternoons discovering traditional bakeries and pâtisseries, sampling exquisite cakes, delicate macarons, buttery pastries, and other irresistible treats that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Many of these moments found their way into my sketchbook as loose watercolour studies and quick illustrations, capturing not only the desserts but also the warmth and atmosphere of Parisian café life. Those sketches became the inspiration for this whimsical design, celebrating the joy of sweet indulgence, creativity, and a granddaughter's very special 24th birthday.
