| Artist Notes: | Collecting inspiration has become part of my creative process. Rather than searching for grand subjects, I'm drawn to small details, the delicate colours of French pastries, the texture of handmade papers, the elegance of antique cake stands, and the beauty of everyday rituals. These observations gradually evolve into whimsical illustrations, layered with fluid watercolour and sketch-like linework. I created this artwork to celebrate a granddaughter's 46th birthday, hoping it conveys the happiness that can be found in creativity, craftsmanship, and life's sweetest moments. |
