Travelling has always been one of my greatest sources of creative inspiration. Every journey offers something unexpected—a charming café, a colourful market, beautifully crafted pastries, or a quiet street filled with character. Rather than simply taking photographs, I prefer to absorb the atmosphere, collecting memories, colours, and little moments that later find their way into my artwork. This whimsical watercolour illustration grew from those experiences and was created especially for a granddaughter celebrating her 53rd birthday. I hope it captures the excitement of discovery, the happiness of life's simple pleasures, and the joy of celebrating a special day.
