One of my many paintings of the Mendocino Coast in California. Inspired by Portuguese Beach at Mendocino village on the headlands. My main goal here artistically was to accomplish true-to-form color in the sand and reflections. I spent hours making notes and observing, then as with all my paintings, I did the work off-site. The border is digitally done.
