This is a portion of one of my oil paintings. The border is digitally composed. I've only been in the Yukon Territory once, that that was during the winter, but I can imagine (and know) how colorful the flora becomes for a short period in the fall. Having sketchnotes only of the "habits" of the trees and the terrain, I painted this once back home in the North Cascades of Washington State.
