O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining It is the night of the dear Savior's birth! "O Holy Night," originally known as "Cantique de Noël," is a beloved Christmas carol that holds a significant place in the history of holiday music. The song's lyrics were written by Placide Cappeau, a French poet, and the music was composed by Adolphe Adam, a French composer, in 1847. (It also has a very interesting back story and why is was banned at some point you should Google one day). I was inspired to use this carol for a ‘O Holy Night’ card design and capture the magic of Christmas and dogs. Most dog breeds are represented in this series.
