Fun facts about puppies; Puppies are born without teeth. Puppies are born unable to hear or smell. They are unable to smell until about three weeks after birth. Newborn puppies spend about 90 percent of their first week sleeping. Puppies follow a sleep schedule similar to that of a newborn human. Wish your wonderful daughter-in-law a Merry Christmas Eve Birthday with a card featuring a sleeping cat in front of a fireplace, a mouse on the mantle and a cute dog holding a stocking in his mouth, excited that Santa Claus is arriving to fill it with goodies.
