Wish anyone in general Merry Christmas from Both Of Us with a card featuring adorable penguins, one in pink, ice skating wearing a scarf, bow and earmuffs behind a little one sitting on a bench, while one in blue is standing in the snow just looking cute. Background is decorated with big colorful trees against a blue sky with white text. Original design by Laurie Schneider, elements by Nini Scrap, La Galerie de Jackie. Ice skating is believed to have been around for more than 3,000 years when people in southern Finland tied sharp, flattened bones to the soles of their feet. This form of ice skating was more like sliding than ice skating, and it wasn't until an iron blade was used that the Dutch made ice skates with sharp-edged blades
