Fun Facts: Thomas Edison sought to draw attention to his incandescent light bulb during the 1880 Christmas season. The Wizard of Menlo Park, who was known for his PR savvy, laid eight miles of underground wire to power strings of lights around the outside of his New Jersey laboratory. Train commuters traveling between New York and Philadelphia were so amazed by the glowing fields that one reporter labeled Edison "the Enchanter" and described the spectacle as "a fairy-land of lights." A lovely, festive design for your grandson and his family featuring beautiful Christmas presents, ribbons, bows, stars, ornaments and a pretty swirl of snowflakes on a delicate blue, textured background with white fancy text. Sure to let them know how special they are to you. Original design by Laurie Schneider, elements by Diana'z Designz.
