Artist Notes:	Translation front of card: "Merry Christmas" in Irish Gaelic (Beannachtai na Nollag). This elegant card features my illustration of the three Wise Men or Magi, carrying gifts. The star of Bethlehem guides the way. Gold effect on this design was created digitally. The bones of the Magi (which were brought to Cologne from Milan in 1164) or reliquary are kept in a golden shrine in the cathedral of Cologne, which was built for this purpose in the 13th century. Underneath the cathedral are the remains of a 9th century cathedral and a previous church, dating from the 6th century.

As in previous orders, I am struck by how vibrant the colours are on the covers..beautiful picture. The turnaround time was very quick from the time I ordered until the USPS delivered them..again impressive.
