Also a cute little cat hiding in a patch of pumpkins being watched by one of the warlocks. A warlock is a male practitioner of evil magic distinguished from a wizard or sorcerer, whose magic may be benign. The most commonly accepted etymology derives warlock from the Old English wǣrloga meaning oathbreaker or deceiver. As far as these cuties go they are not into evil stuff.
