Wish your wonderful niece a Happy Halloween Birthday with a card featuring three black cats wearing blue, magenta and red bows sitting on a fence gazing at a harvest moon with bats while another cat is flying on a broom in front of the moon wearing a witch hat holding a pumpkin. Original design by Laurie Schneider, elements by Digital Designs by Elena. Black cats almost always have yellow eyes. This is due to melanism, which produces an excess of melanin – the dark pigment that makes the cats black. This pigment also makes their eyes dark yellow. Melanism is essentially the opposite of albinism.
