This special card for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year is composed of letters from my custom designed Hebrew alphabet (alefbet). Each letter is formed from the flowers, plants or trees whose name begins with that letter. Many of these plants are native to Israel. The apple is sliced and dipped into the bowl of honey on the eve of the holiday and are symbolic of sweetness in the New Year.
