According to legend Saint Patrick banished all the snakes from Ireland. Here, St. Patrick and the snakes are surrounded by other Irish symbols: the Celttic cross; the shamrocks and the rainbow. The picture was painted in watercolour by Christine Burn and is executed in the style of a stained glass window. The text inside is a traditional Irish Greeting.
