"Year of the Snake" is the black hand lettered wording, accented with melon-colored bamboo flowers, at the top of this dynamically stylized snake card. The Chinese character for "snake" appears below the jaw of the snake. The snake slithers along several green sticks of bamboo, looping his body around and around, with his tail tucked in and through all of the dangling loops. His head rises up to keep his huge decorative eye on what's going on around him. His red tongue slithers out in front of him, in a color that matches the bamboo flowers that decorate both his body and the bamboo he is where he is coiling around. The inside wording of the card says "May the Year of the Snake bring you happiness, good fortune and prosperity always."
