The word “wreath” comes from the Old English word “writhen”, meaning to twist. Ancient Romans wore wreaths on their heads to symbolize honor, and displayed them on their doors to show off a successful battle. Ancient Greeks gave the winners of the original Olympic Games laurel wreaths as prizes. Wish your special great niece a Merry Christmas with a card featuring a lighthouse scene with snow, a Christmas Tree, icy water and mountains against a beautiful blue sky. The design is framed in burgundy lines with snowflakes and burgundy text. Design by Laurie Schneider, elements by Digital Designs by Elena, Diana'z Designz.
