Celebrate Hawaii’s beloved King Kamehameha on the day that honors him and his reign. This greeting card for Kamehameha Day (June 11) is a collage featuring a 1816 portrait of Kamehameha I, antique Hawaiian stamps with Kamehameha V (1866), Queen Liliuokalani (1891), a missionary stamp, and a Hawaiian dime. The background image is a rendition of a painting depicting King Kamehameha the Great receiving the Russian naval expedition in 1816 Hawaii's motto is also shown. Translated, it says "The Life of the Land is Perpetuated in Righteousness." This design can also be used for other Hawaiian holidays by changing the inside text.
