The special day set aside in May, known as National Learn to Swim Day, is a wonderful opportunity for you or your children to take the first steps in learning how to swim. Important for safety around pools and bodies of water, such as lakes and streams, it provides an opportunity to teach water safety to all. The card features an underwater view of a blue swimming pool, with lane marker boundaries and bubbles rising from the swimmer who has dipped below the surface of the water. The words "National Learn to Swim Day" fill the center of the blue card in white lettering. The inside wording of the card is "Make sure all your family members are safe near the water by learning to swim."
