Pastor Appreciation Month (originally called Clergy Appreciation Month) was established in 1992 by a group of pastors and church leaders to honor those who serve in ministry. A cross with a blue cloth and beautiful white doves on a light blue, flowered background with dark blue text makes for a beautiful card to give any pastor in general during Pastor Appreciation Month to let him or her know how much he or she is appreciated. Original design by Laurie Schneider, elements by Digital Designs by Elena, Diana'z Designz. The White Dove is not the same bird as the white homing pigeon. Though they are both white, the White Dove is a smaller bird. It does not fly straight for long distances but rather flutters about, and it does not have a highly developed homing instinct.
