Fun facts: Birds don’t have sweat glands, which means they need to do something different to stay cool. Doves simply pant heavily, much like canines, which allows heat to escape their bodies through the lungs. They might also flutter their wings rapidly in an attempt to cool off. Due to the amount, they pant, white doves can dehydrate rapidly. This is why they also drink a considerable amount of water. White doves can adapt to just about any environment, although they are not typically found in dry deserts or arctic climates. They do well in hot areas, largely because they can fly great distances in search of the nearest water source. A beautiful cross trimmed in red with a red cloth draped over it with white doves on a elegant red, heart background makes for a lovely, religious Valentine's Day card to your wonderful cousin and his wife.
