A beautiful young Flamenco dancer, her arms held gracefully above her torso, is dancing in a brightly colored red, white and blue dress. She wears a red rose atop her head. Her black hair is pulled tightly in a bun. In her ears are large white hoop earrings. Her lips are ruby red. Strangely though, her left hand is empty. Stranger still, in her right hand a single castanet is looped to her thump with thick black twine. Everyone in the audience is watching breathlessly, listening intently for the sound made by a single castanet clapping. Many will be disappointed for only the wisest among them will be able to hear it.
