This oil painting I created was inspired by the beauty of belly dance and the time I spent studying this wonderful art form. It features 2 tablas, Egyptian pyramids, magic carpet and a magic lamp. The belly dancer is emerging from the lamp in a cloud of smoke. This is a wonderful way to send good luck wishes to any belly dancer. This card says. "it's time to RAQ the house"! RAQ stands for Raqs Sharqi...the formal name used in antiquity for belly dance. She'll tell you all about this...just ask her!
