Not every presence is warm. Some are… luminous. The Afghan Hound has always carried a kind of distance — not absence, but something more rare. A quiet independence. A beauty that never needed to ask for attention, yet always held it. This piece leans into that feeling. The long lines, the flowing coat, the sense of forward movement across the rainbow — not hurried, not hesitant — simply continuing. As if this was always the direction they were meant to go. There is grief here, yes. But also something else… admiration, perhaps. For a companion who was never entirely ours — and yet, somehow, completely unforgettable.
