Our dogs are our most precious gifts. They give us unconditional love. Losing them is one of the hardest things we go through. Harder still, having to make the decision to put your dog to sleep. It's one of the most difficult things a dog owner ever has to do, and ultimately the final loving act. Euthanasia is an incredibly hard choice to make. Showing support to those who are going through this difficult choice in addition to losing an animal they love is worthy of all the love and support we can give. It was perfect timing for this photo when the sunset was incredible one evening with gold and many shades of blue, a lab just happened to be running in the surf at just the right spot. The waves had receded to reflect the colors on the sand. I shot the photo at Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara.
