A very pretty greeting card to express your sympathy in the German language. Wood or wild violets have many associations but William Shakespeare associated English violets with death and mourning, although they are often the first sign of spring's arrival in woodland so they also convey a message of hope and renewal. This clump of violets was painted by hand in watercolour by Judy Adamson and the background is striped with a very pale violet colour. The front cover greeting is, 'With Deepest Sympathy on the loss of your Brother' and the inside is left blank for your own message.
