The loss of a pet is never easy, nor is the loss of a zoo animal one has dedicated one's life to caring for. Zoo animals are special creatures and their care takers are equally special. When one of these animals passes on, the pain of loss is deep. This tiger, who lives at the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut, was photographed by Donna Lorello of Sunshine's Creative Endeavors with permission granted by the Zoo to use in this card design. This card is meant to be shared with the care giver of a wild zoo animal that has passed on. A portion of royalties in the sale of this card will be donated to the zoo to help them continue their conservation and rehabilitation efforts.
