Artist Notes:
|
Humorous captioned Victorian pencil drawing that is designed to look like a newspapers front page with digitally created effects that look like old paper, with a woman hating her friend's new dress and thinking it could stop traffic. Caption reads: 'Her friend's zebra imitation crinoline gave her an excellent idea to stop traffic.' (In the UK designated road crossings are known as 'Zebra Crossings' as seen on the Beatles Abbey Road album cover. But in the USA road crossings are known as a 'crosswalk'. THE EDGES OF THIS DESIGN ARE INTENTIONALLY DESIGNED WITH DIGITAL EFFECTS TO LOOK TORN AND AGED"
